Italian-Style Dukkah

  • Makes 6 to 8 servings (375 ml / 1 1/2 cup)



  1. With a mortar and pestle or in a small food processor, pulse almonds into small pieces.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Place in a small bowl. Pour olive oil in another bowl. Serve with bread cubes to first soak in oil then press in dukkah.
  3. Dukkah can be kept for 1 week in the refrigerator.


You can also use dukkah as a condiment to season and add crunch to fish, soup or salad.
