Apple and Cheese Bites

  1. With a mandoline, thinly slice the apple into 24 slices.
  2. On a work surface, cut the cheese into 24 slices.
  3. For each bite layer alternately 2 apple slices, 2 cheese slices and 2 basil leaves. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Season with pepper.
  4. Serve a Elderflower Ice Cider (see recipe) with an Apple and Cheese Bite placed on top of the glass.
