- In a bowl, combine the icing sugar, vanilla and egg white with a whisk until the icing is smooth.
- Dip the tops of the cookies in the icing or, with a pastry bag, decorate the cookies of your choice. Let the icing dry for about 4 hours.
Note
Orange Royal Icing: Replace the vanilla with 5 ml of yellow food colouring and 2.5 ml of red food colouring.
