Ingredients

- 2 limes, scrubbed clean
- 3 cups (750 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (105 g) sugar
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups (750 ml) ice cubes

Preparation

- On a work surface, trim off and discard both ends of the limes. Cut the limes into pieces.
- In a blender, purée the limes, water, sugar and condensed milk until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a sieve placed over a large measuring cup or pitcher. Add the ice cubes. Serve immediately.

Note from Ricardo

For a version with alcohol, add white rum, pisco or vodka, to taste. Pisco is a grape alcohol from Peru or Chile. It’s often used in lime-flavoured cocktails.
