In our version of the Bramble, we use real blackberries versus crème de mûre for a fresher, sharper fruit taste.

Ingredients

- 6 fresh blackberries
- ½ oz (15 ml) cane syrup
- 2 oz (60 ml) gin
- 1 oz (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1 half-slice lemon
- Crushed ice

Preparation

- In a lowball glass, add the blackberries and cane syrup. With a cocktail muddler or fork, coarsely crush the blackberries.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice. Pour the gin and lemon juice into the glass. Top with the half-slice of lemon. Stir well.
