Braised Pears in Red Wine

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, bring all the ingredients to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the pears are tender and the wine is syrupy. Let cool completely.
  2. Delicious on ice cream or with cake.


Instead of red wine, use leftover white or even sparkling wine for this recipe.
