It’s almost impossible to visualize what lies behind the doors of the Lantic sugar plant in Montreal. Ricardo sets out on a guided tour of the desert-like warehouse, where some 60,000 tons of raw sugar, delivered from Brazil by ship, are waiting to be refined and sold across Canada.
