1. Jasmine and Cherry Cocktail
Set the tone for the evening with this delicate cocktail with floral notes. The jasmine syrup gives a pleasant depth to this gin-based drink that also includes cherry liqueur and tonic water. With its pretty pink tint as well as candied cherry and fresh flower garnish, this cocktail has everything to charm anyone from the very first sip.
VALENTINE'S DAY
Jasmine and Cherry Cocktail
« Even if it seems sophisticated, this menu is quite simple to make if you work in stages to cook it, as we do at Café RICARDO. For that matter, almost everything can be prepared up to three days in advance. You’ll just have to cook the duck breast and assemble the cocktail at the last minute. »

2. Honey-Spice Duck Breast with Carrot Purée and Apple Sauce
In this recipe, it’s the presentation that steals the limelight. Once you’ve cut the honey-spice glazed duck breast lengthwise, place it on top of the carrot purée that you’ve elegantly spread on the plate. Working as you would in a painting, continue assembling the plates by distributing thin slices of apple and microgreens artistically. The final touch? A delicious trickle of apple sauce over the meat.
3. Valentine’s Day Chocolate and Raspberry Cake
There’s a lot of love in this cake that marries flavours and textures in an absolutely divine union. The moist chocolate cake is topped with raspberry cream, then with dollops of chocolate whipped cream. Make divots in a few of the dollops and fill them with salted caramel. The ideal dessert for this special occasion.
