Preparation
We particularly enjoy this method, given that there’s no need to wait for the water to boil before adding the eggs. Simply pour ½ cup (125 ml) of water into the air fryer basket and preheat to 350°F (180°C) for three minutes.
Cooking
Once preheated, remove the basket and place the eggs inside, making sure to space them out. All that’s left to do is to cook them for the specified number of minutes, depending on your desired doneness.
Egg cooking times
- Soft-boiled eggs: 8 minutes at 350°F (180°C)
- Jammy eggs: 10 minutes at 350°F (180°C)
- Hard-boiled eggs: 12 minutes at 350°F (180°C)
It might be necessary to adjust the cooking time by plus or minus one minute depending on the appliance you are using.
Serving
Remove the eggs from the basket, rinse them under cold water for five minutes, then peel off the shells. Then pat them dry. Given that the soft-boiled eggs are more fragile, peel them gently so as to not break them.
