Chocolatey
1. Chewy Brown Butter S’mores Cookies
Chocolate always has a place during the holidays. We love it melted, in chunks, in shavings, but above all, we enjoy it pretty much everywhere! Our content director, Maude, has been making chewy brown butter s’mores cookies for two years now. A dough made of marshmallows and dark chocolate that we wouldn’t dare share with anyone…except Santa Claus!
2. Blueberry-Hazelnut Clusters
Chocolate clusters with Corn Flakes® and peanut butter are a must that Nathalie, vice-president of marketing, particularly enjoys. Her mother makes them every year, without exception. They can also be made in a quicker version, with blueberries and hazelnuts, for that perfect combination of crisp and melty.

3. Dominoes (Nanaimo Bars)
Nanaimo bars are popular amongst the family members of account manager Florence. These layered squares made of chocolate, vanilla and graham crackers make great gourmet gifts or can be enjoyed on-the-go after a festive meal.

4. Gingerbread Cookies
When it comes to comfort eats, desserts that contain spices are a unanimous choice. Let’s begin with the gingerbread cookies that our marketing project manager, Juliette, loves to bake. With their varied shapes, they are fun to make and allow everyone’s imagination to run free when it comes time to frost them.

6. Traditional Fruitcakes
Fruit in desserts adds a touch of lightness alongside other, richer delicacies. We only have to think of the classic fruitcake. For our photographer Jean-Michel, it is a holiday treat that he particularly enjoys during the mornings of the holiday break, along with a coffee.

7. White Chocolate and Clementine Yule Log
And let’s not forget our white chocolate and candied clementine log that he also likes to bake at this time of year. It’s an airy dessert that is a nice contrast to the robust dishes of the holiday season.

8. Cranberry Layer Cake
Cranberries are also invited to the table, particularly at this time of year. Sylvie Hotte loves them in this cranberry layer cake that she bakes year after year. The tangy touch that the red fruit brings works in perfect harmony with the richness of the buttercream.

9. Potato Doughnuts with Maple Syrup
There are some desserts that one can’t live without during the holiday season. First, there are potato doughnuts! They’re something project manager Mélissa loves to do with her kids using a mini doughnut maker. She prepares them in abundance in anticipation of the holidays.

10. Cream Fudge
At the home of our vice-president of operations, Mireille, cream fudge is a recurring classic every year. She makes a good amount of it, which she then shares with family. It’s also a recipe that Alexandra, our loyalty and relationship marketing specialist, can’t help but make every year.

Bonus: Sugar Pie
There are obviously plenty of desserts that our staff members enjoy baking during the holidays and we couldn’t resist the urge to suggest one more. After all, how can we not mention our famous sugar pie? For Julie, digital director at RICARDO, it is the must-have recipe that’s baked by her mother. It’s impossible for her to go a year without it.
