  1. Preheat the grill, setting the burners to high. Oil the grate. In a small bowl, combine the egg, milk and sugar.

  1. Dip each pound cake cube in the egg mixture. Thread the cubes on the skewers, alternating with the cherries. Grill for about 30 seconds on each of the 4 sides.
  2. Serve with Custard Sauce.
