- In a bowl, combine the flour and beer with a whisk. Whisk in the oil and egg whites. Season with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the oil in the deep fryer to high temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 100 °C (200 °F). Line a baking sheet with paper towels.
- With a brush, coat each blossom with the batter. Fry four blossoms at a time for about 3 minutes or until nicely golden brown. Drain on the paper towel and keep warm in the oven. Sprinkle with fleur de sel before serving.
