- In a saucepan, heat water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
- In a pitcher, combine syrup, watermelon, and lemon juice. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with ice. Garnish with slices of watermelon.
For 1.5 litres (6 cups) of watermelon juice, purée 2 litres (8 cups) of cubed, seedless watermelon in a blender and strain.
