Peach Flambé

  • Makes 4 to 6 servings



  1. In a large skillet (see note), melt butter with brown sugar. Add peaches and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly until tender. Add liqueur and ignite (flambé).
  2. Serve warm with crêpes, over rice pudding or ice cream.


It is not recommended to flambé in a non-stick skillet. Various non-stick coatings cannot withstand such high temperatures. Opt for a stainless steel, enameled cast iron or cast iron skillet.
