- In an 8-inch (20 cm) square glass dish, combine the sugar with half (1 cup/250 ml) of the orange juice. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir and continue heating for 1 minute or until the sugar has completely dissolved. Add the remaining orange juice and mix well. Freeze for 6 hours or until completely frozen.
- With a fork, scrape the granita into icy crystals.
- Divide the strawberries among 8 cups. Top with the granita.
