3 tablespoons (45 ml) mayonnaise
2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) paprika
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground cumin
2 cups (500 ml) mixed nuts (pecans, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews)
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 150 ° C (300 ° F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, maple syrup and spices. Add the nuts and toss to coat.
Spread the nuts on the baking sheet and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. The nuts should be lightly toasted. Sprinkle with salt right out of the oven. Cool and serve.
