Cucumber Salad
1 bag 150 g cheese curd, coarsely chopped (310 ml / 1 1/4 cups, approximately)
1/2 cup (125 ml) store-bought tzatziki sauce
2 Lebanese cucumbers, thinly sliced

1 lb (454 g) ground lamb or lean beef
8 small hamburger buns
Mayonnaise
Dijon mustard
8 slices tomato
Salt and pepper
Preparation
Cucumber Salad
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Set aside.
Burgers
Preheat the grill, setting the burners on high. Oil the grate.
With your hands or burger press, shape eight small patties with about 60 ml (¼ cup) of meat each. Oil lightly.
Grill the patties for about 2 minutes per side or until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
Toast the buns. Spread the inside with mayonnaise and mustard. Arrange the tomato slices and patties on the bottoms. Top with cucumber salad. Close the buns.
