The stalk of Brussels sprouts can be cooked on the barbecue. To do so, preheat half of the grill, setting the burners to high. Oil the stalk and season with salt and pepper before placing it on the side of the grill that is off. Close the lid and cook the sprouts for 40 minutes, turning the stalk over halfway through cooking.
