The delicata squash can be replaced with 3 cups (450 g) peeled and cubed butternut squash or 1 acorn squash (1 1/3 lb/600g), halved, seeded and each half cut into 6 wedges.

The squash can be cooked in an air fryer for 22 minutes at 350°F (180°C), turning the slices over half way through.
