From some Tofu Patties to a Hot Dogs, the five recipes featured here are meal suggestions the whole family is sure to love. Check out what you’re having for dinner this week!

Monday: Sweet Potato and Tofu Patties

Made with grated sweet potatoes, tofu and feta cheese, these vegetarian patties are a great meatless meal option to add to your weeknight menu. Brown them in a frying pan and finish the cooking in the oven. Serve them with homemade or store-bought minty tzatziki sauce and a green salad.

Tuesday: Cajun-Spiced Linguine with Shrimp

Ready in less than 30 minutes, this pasta dish is ideal when you’re looking for something to make your life easier on busy weeknights. This simple and savoury dish puts to good use that bag of shrimp you keep in the freezer just for that kind of need and a can of tomatoes from the pantry. Cajun spices complement the dish, which also relies on cream and cream cheese for a velvety texture that’ll satisfy the whole family.

Wednesday: Squash Quiche

Butternut squash is one of the quintessential end-of-summer vegetables, so why not showcase it in a quiche? Cut it into cubes and brown them in a skillet, then soften them in the oven. Spoon the cooked squash into the crust and cover it with a mixture of whisked eggs and cottage cheese, then bake the quiche in the oven. As the dish can be frozen, you can get a head start on a future meal by doubling the recipe.

Thursday: White Chili

Go full on comfort food with this vegetarian chili that’s a welcome variation on the traditional meat and tomato chili. Cook the veggies and white beans in a broth fragrant with chili powder and cumin. A dollop of sour cream brings creaminess to the dish. Serve it in bowls and garnish with cheese and crushed corn chips. A hearty, delicious meal that’s also ready in a flash.

Friday: Hot Dogs with Broccoli and Cheese

If you’re looking for something simple, yet out of the ordinary, these hot dogs made with mild Italian sausages are the solution for you. Broccoli is added as a topping, cut into tiny florets, blanched and mixed with creamed corn. Melting cheddar cheese gives the final touch to these unusual hot dogs that’ll put a smile on everyone at the table.
